why use recyclerview instead of ListView with BaseAdapter

base adapter is much way simpler i guess. i just need to pass the array to the adapter, set the count, set the view, and done

in the fragment, use listview.onclick(view), then just toast(view.textview)

less effort i guess. please give me ur argumentation

base adapter and listview implementation is easier to remember, less custom code.

The answer, as with many questions in software development, is, "It depends." A ListView can be a simple alternative for simple lists and short lists. With longer lists, ones where there is a lot of scrolling to see all the items, a RecyclerView can perform better.
