WHat are the steps I need to take in order to connect giflib to a postgresql database?

can we do this all from the "app.properties" file?

I notice that we all also have to make changes to "hibernate.cfg.xml" in order to change the dialect ...can this be done in the "app.properties" file instead?

i added: compile 'postgresql:postgresql:9.1-901-1.jdbc4'

to dependencies.. but wasn't sure if we also needed to configure it as runtime dependency instead..

..I'm trying to connect it to a heroku postgresql database for a challenge..

Please help me somebody!! :)

I think the strengths of this model and the separation of concerns here is that it doesnt matter what datasource we plug in as long as the app.properties file and the data config class are rigged up to properly config the data source.
