VR Insights : Unity compatible with Mobile VR headsets?

Hi, I'm trying get into VR to fulfill a certain client requirement. I'm interested in creating a world for a shopping experience where the user can purchase products that's on shelves, but this should be compatible with mobile VR headsets like Gear VR and Google Day dream, etc. and shouldn't require more expensive headsets like HTC Vive.

Is this possible to do using unity?

@nickpetit would love your insights here. Thanks in advance for anyone who might be able to offer advice.

The dev kits that come for different platforms in Unity are super fun to pay with...plus free. I use the oculus rift and they bundle free starter projects and packages.

You could also try KRpano/Kolor and use pano technology to take advantage of webvr which might make the store part of it easier..... https://krpano.com/krpanocloud/webvr/?v=119pr14 http://www.kolor.com/livepano/
