Game Development

Unity Animations

I'm really enjoying the How To Make A Video Game series and I know that there is a 3D modelling course coming up soon. I was just wondering if there will be a tutorial on animations and animating objects in unity in the future?

Hopefully Nick Pettit can enlighten us. I'd be pretty interested in this too, I'm sure they have big long term plans for the Game Development category. And animations alone can cover a lot of different areas, everything from simple tweens to Mechanim animation system (which is now also can be used for UI interactions too), rigging etc.

I don't know why they ignored blender and plugged Maya LT. You can use blender to apply mocap files found on the internet to a rigged biped character. Ikinema is another free web based app you can use to assign mocap animations to a rig.

There should be a blender course...
