UIKit Hierarchy

in the intermediate lecture, Pasan explains a lot about UIView, NSObject, UIImage etc . i don't really grasp about these (even though Michael has explained some of it to me). so if I want to learn about UIKit hierarcy, is there any lecture or good article about it ? i know it is available in apple documentation, but it is confusing for the beginner

thanks in advance :)

you can explorer the hierarchy of any class of xcode through xcode by option click on the UIKit keyword and xcode will open a small brife window of the class and in the last you can find frameword refernace it would help you as it helped me understand the hierarchy of xcode classes
