Hi guys!
I got my computer back today after it was taken away for repair before Christmas. Now that I've got it back I've been loading it with various programs and tools to get me back on the road for desktop. And this would be the first time I've attempted to run Android Studio on a desktop.
When I did this for my laptop, I was able to just select all the API's so I had the option of testing on them if needs be by simply letting it work on full power till it was done.. I don't think I have this luxury for a desktop PC.
Whats the minimum selection I need from the SDK manager?
I read this from Stack Overflow which recommends a certain number of API levels to download as well as some other things. http://stackoverflow.com/questions/28896828/android-sdk-manager-do-you-need-to-install-all-android-platforms
I fear this could also take a long time. I've also tried to open AS to see what API'S I've already managed to install but I can't seem to get in as it goes straight into downloading components.
Actually scratch that, I just got in from the file path on Windows Explorer and I've selected another batch to try and download. I don't want this to take forever but I don't want to not have AS on the computer either ;)
