Hi!

First of all you do not need to create an instance of the Console object, he has already done that for you.

Next, It is %s, not s%.

Finally, you do not need to put quotes around the variable. Change: "firstName" to firstName.

Here is the code for this challenge:

// I have setup a java.io.Console object for you named console
String firstName = "Peter";
console.printf("%s can code in Java!", firstName);

I hope this helps!

Thanks! :)

Hey Pedro,

You're close. For the second challenge, you'll want to use the printf function. Remove the assignment and call the printf function on console. Note that you'll want to use %s and not s%. You also need to pass a variable and not a string as an argument.

Here is an example:

String example = "Jacob";
console.printf("%s is my name!", example);
