Pushed off the cliff: Build a Vending Machine App in Swift 3?

Been following along the beginner IOS development track with fair ease up till now. My performance on coding challenges has been strong, and up till now I thought I had a good hold on the content. I even published my own (super basic) app.

Am I the only one who seems to think we went from walking to sprinting during the Vending Machine App? My hope and feeling is that its more tuned towards just trying to grasp error handling with some high level, quick exposure to a multitude of real (seemingly complex) world code. I certainly at this point wouldn't be able to put the same app back together on my own. Any advice?

I was totally lost in that course as well. I think they made a mistake of using a far more advanced app to show an example of what they were actually teaching. I just powered through it and kept going, if your'e doing the tech degree things come together for your unit projects, not sure how it is for the regular tracks. But, to put your mind at ease, yes, pretty much everyone was completely lost in that course

This tutorial was a low point in my Treehouse experience and learning all together. Pasan's teaching style is exhausting beyond the lower level courses.

Stick with it. I still maintain my membership for the solid foundation concepts from treehouse. I go between this and Udemy. Udemy has better hands on materials; specifically more app building time. Treehouse has rock solid coding/concept videos.

I'm glad somebody asked, I was just about to.

I can see the logic to the code, but it's a real cramming session. I don't want to whine, but it is pretty daunting to see how everything fits together, are you saying it gets worse Cadorette?
