Is "iOS Development with Objective-C" still a valid track?

I have noticed that iOS Development with Objective-C is much shorter than the Swift tracks, is this purposeful, so that people can learn Objective-C, then learn more in-depth development with Swift? Or will the Objective-C track get you just as far, with less to learn?

I noticed that the track description is pretty out of date as well... as it still claims you start by making a crystal ball app (which you don't).

Should I even consider taking this course? Is it outdated? I contacted support MONTHS ago to update the description, with no luck whatsoever.

Hi Ryan -

What are your goals? Are you wanting to be a programmer for a job? If the answer is yes then most companies will want you familiar with Objective - C. The place where I work, an intermediate knowledge of Objective - C is required to be hired

Didn't really answer the question. I already know Swift. I am concerned for other learners mostly.

long term, Objective C will help you become a better dev, its the building blocks of swift. Swift mastery takes precedence but I think you'll find Objective C valuable too.
