Hi Avery,

it's the little things that often create an error...

Your code is pretty nice but there is one little thing missing between the "href" attribute and "cakes.html" (plus around "cakes.html". Can you find it?

Otherwhise I will tell you... ;-)

can you tell me why this code is not running properly? It seems the be fine in the text on the page, but it is giving me an error message.

Avery Pierce Any attributes of an element need to have their values wrapped in quotes. Attributes of HTML elements operate on a key : value pairing. So "key" is the name of the attribute whereas "value" is the value / setting for that particular attribute. In HTML, the key is inside of the opening tag, and that key's value is assigned to its key via `="____"

In this instance, for the a tag, it has an href attribute.

So an a tag could look like this:

<a href="_____">YourLink</a>

Now you just need to update your code to match the pattern above.
