413 PointsI have checked my work and I have the right answer so I don't know what is wrong.
If anyone see's this and has had the same problem could you tell me how to go about dealing with this issue so that I maybe able to move on and learn more?
<?php
//Place your code below this comment
$integerOne = 1;
$integerTwo = 2;
var_dump ($integerOne + 5);
var_dump ($integerTwo - 1);

Courses Plus Student 5,373 PointsThe instructions: Add 5 to $integerOne. Subtract 1 from $integerTwo. I believe that the answer should be: $integerOne += 5; $integerTwo -= 1;

413 Points<?php
//Place your code below this comment $integerOne = 1; $integerTwo = 2: $integerOne += 5; $integerTwo -+ 1; $floatOne = 1.5; echo $integerOne * $floatOne;
?>
And it is still saying the same thing. Oops! It looks like Task 1 is no longer passing.

Courses Plus Student 5,373 PointsIt looks like you have a colon : instead of a semi-colon after ... = 2 (...$integerTwo = 2: $inte...)

413 PointsHey thanks for the help Mike but I think I know what's going on. I tried it with the semicolon and no matter what the answer is wrong. I think since I am not on the pro or Techdegree account I won't get to go any further so I think I will cancel my account.
