You can use a browser Plugin such as this Chrome Extension here: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/awesome-screenshot-screen/nlipoenfbbikpbjkfpfillcgkoblgpmj

Ok, the reason you can not see the Plugin menu button in your WordPress.com Backend is, that WordPRess.com is a network multisite solution, that provides your WP site and millions of other WP sites through one single WP dashboard, that is organizing that network. They integrate the most wanted and useful plugin functionalities already in their provided sites.

Since you are "merely" a user that is assigned to one of those Multisites within their network, you can only those themes and options that they configure in their main WordPress.com network host installation.

The bottom line is, that you can not install individual plugins when using a Wordpress.com-hosted site.

To be able to install your own plugins etc. you need to self-host a WP installation. You need your own webspace, a database, a database user and a domain for that. Then download the WordPress package from wordpress.org and upload it to your webspace. Run the WP 5-minute install and you are good to go.

More info on WordPress.com and Plugins to be found here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/plugins/

There are three possible options to add a plugin of your choice to your WordPress installation:

  1. Use WordPRess respository available within your dashboard: Go to your WP Admin, then choose Plugins from left menu und click the Install link. Then type in the Plugin's name into the searchfield, once it is coming among your search results, choose it and hit install now.

  2. Use a Plugin .zip file which you downloaded from an external third party source: Go to your WP Admin, then choose Plugins from left menu und click the Install link. Now click "Upload Plugin" and follow the hints on your screen.

  3. Upload your unzipped Plugin folder to the following directory in your wp installation on your FTP server: /wp-content/plugins/ Now go to your WP admin > Plugins and click the activate link that is showing below that newly uploaded Plugin.

Hope this was helpful. Saskia

Could you please take a screenshot of your WordPress Admin menu panel and share it? Make sure to hide any sensitive data.
