JavaScript JavaScript and the DOM (Retiring) Getting a Handle on the DOM Selection Review

How would you select the body element using document.getElementsByTagName. I can't figure this out?

How would you select the body element using document.getElementsByTagName, and store it in the variable body?

(Hint: Don't forget that this method returns a collection, not a single element.)

const body = ____

My answer is: const body = document.getElementsByTagName ('body')[0];

It works in workspaces. But I cannot seem to pass the question in the quiz.

Hey Luke!

You have an additional space between the method name and the parentheses following it. Remove the space and you should be able to pass the quiz.

Thank you! I figured out in another video it only seemed to like double quotes as well ""
