27,930 PointsHi,
the best way I find is the direct deploy feature :)
very easy to use and super efficient with no FTP needed!
here is a link but I am happy to help with any questions you may have along the way.

Courses Plus Student 123 PointsThanks Craig, do I need the premium version of Desktop server to do this?

27,930 PointsHi,
Yes sorry Direct Deploy is a premium feature.
As far as im aware when using the limited version you would follow the normal process of uploading a wordpress site to a sever via FTP.
There are plugins such as Duplicator which I would highly recommenced to help with the "normal" way of uploading a wordpress site. Using this plugin will just ease a but of the pain but I would read the docs and FAQ's first to get a good grip on how it works but I use it to back up all my sites.
Sorry for he confusion, if you want to make an investment that really will pay off over time them premium desktop server is awesome and treehouse has a voucher code https://teamtreehouse.com/perks just scroll down to desktop server link and it will show you :)
