3,923 PointsFirst you need to use an element selector in your css file. So to select the h1 tag you would select it as so:
h1 {
}
Selecting the h1 selector with the element selector then using the color property in css to change the elements color. So for example
h1 {
color: purple;
}
Will change the color of the h1 text to purple, hope this helps.

Courses Plus Student 10,823 PointsWell there are couple of ways to do so if you don't want to write code in your CSS file then you can use inline style as follow: <h1 style="color:red">Welcome to My Web Page!</h1> But that's not a good approach I would encourage you to use the CSS Selectors method to add style to your page.In order to add color to your heading just select your heading in the CSS file and give it a color by using color property as follows: /Code goes in CSS styleSheet/ h1 { color:purple; }
