Android

Finally going to get a Mac Mini, but is it good enough for Android development too?

If you want to know the specs, then here they are:

2.6GHz dual-core Intel Core i5 (Turbo Boost up to 3.1GHz) with 3MB on-chip shared L3 cache

8GB of 1600MHz LPDDR3 memory

1TB (5400-rpm) hard drive

Intel Iris Graphics 5000

Hello Nafis.

I had a 2012 Mac Mini and I had to sell it, because it took too long in terms of running emulators. I don't remember the specs so I can't compare, but those specs look good.

I bought a gamimg PC, although I don't play games and it runs everything on Android Studio smoothly.

I bought that Mac Mini and it works fine for Android development. (2014 version, I think.)

The emulators are not loading immediately, but you only have to do that once per session. Re-installing your app after an update is pretty quick - as is installing to a real device connected by USB.

I recommend it as the budget option for being able to develop for any platform - it works fine.
