20,721 PointsExceptions come from errors being thrown due to a bug or fault in your code. This can be prevented by marking your functions that may throw errors with the keyword βthrowβ. This results in, instead of the code breaking, an error being thrown. In your main(String[] args) function, you can catch these errors and direct what can be done when an error happens. This should help you understand the gist of exceptions. I suggest you look at the Java exceptions course thoroughly to fully understand the concept.
