Exceptions

I don't understand the exceptions topic in java I.e try, catch etc

1 Answer

Exceptions come from errors being thrown due to a bug or fault in your code. This can be prevented by marking your functions that may throw errors with the keyword β€˜throw’. This results in, instead of the code breaking, an error being thrown. In your main(String[] args) function, you can catch these errors and direct what can be done when an error happens. This should help you understand the gist of exceptions. I suggest you look at the Java exceptions course thoroughly to fully understand the concept.
