I am going to be developing an E-Commerce website would you recommend that I use Wordpress, and is there a course that will walk me through how to develop a E-Commerce theme for Wordpress?

18,392 PointsWooCommerce is probably the most popular ecommerce plugin for WordPress. There is a course for it here:
Ecommerce with WordPress and WooCommerce
I also recommend checking out XCart if you don't want to use WordPress. If you do like XCart, a great tutorial for creating custom skins can be found here.
I'm currently about to start making an ecommerce store for a client and I will probably use WordPress with WooCommerce.

Courses Plus Student 3,588 PointsYou're the man Chris, I also will be doing projects for clients once I get a good working knowledge of Wordpress development. I would love to see the finish project once you have completed it.

18,392 PointsI don't work with WordPress too much. And when I do, I'm usually working on a plugin. So creating themes is new for me too! Good luck with yours!

18,199 PointsI've worked with WooCommerce before and I enjoyed it, it's a stable and easy to use platform. Also Treehouse has a WooCommerce course coming up soon. Keep an eye out. :)
