Java

"clear" command error when using Java Workspace.

I have found that, when using the "clear" command in the Java workspace, it causes the console to stop allowing any typing. I can still type in the workspace but the console suddenly seems to ignore the keyboard.

Wondering if anyone else has encountered this. I can remedy it by closing out Workspace & reentering but it is a little cumbersome. So, if this is a user error on my side, I'd love to be aware of what I'm doing to trigger this reactions.

Thanks in Advance,

Kia

Hi Kia,

Are you clicking back inside the console area before you try typing again. Sometimes when you click outside (to type in the workspace), you have to click back inside the console area to have the cursor active again.

If you are, then I'm not sure on a solution as I could not duplicate the problem on my end. If you are still having trouble, you can shoot the Support Team a message about the issue and see if they have any suggestions.

I hope you get this fixed up soon. :) :dizzy:

It's stopped happening every time but is still stopping intermittantly. I have certainly been selecting the Console window but definitely a good thing to think of! It's behaving very much like a glitch. If it is still happening after this update that my computer would like to do, I will follow up with the Support Team.

Thank you for your response,

Kia
