12,278 PointsAnyone have any basic HTML/CSS projects that you could recommend?
I am going through the Front End Web Development track, and I have completed the first few sections which teach HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
Before I continue on, I want to do some projects and exercises to ensure I have the material already taught perfectly understood in my head.
Any ideas?

13,925 PointsHi Nicholas- I practice by trying to recreate other websites from scratch. Or I just create fake fan sites for things I enjoy- like video games, or movies. best of luck!

Courses Plus Student 8,608 PointsI hope this is ok to recommend because I really do enjoy using treehouse and feel like it is totally worth the money. I'm considering upgrading to the Techdegree section because I think that has more of the projects that you are talking about. With that said there are lots of other free or cheap resources with projects ideas on the web. I love Free Code Camp. I don't know that I would recommend using it as a stand alone learning resource because it is pretty challenging but you could certainly use some of there project ideas. Also get that portfolio site going. That is a great first project and you can make several of them. Keep changing your style and making it using different libraries. Also I found that unsplash is a super helpful resource since they have free pictures that you can use however you would like. That way you don't get in trouble for copyright stuff.
