Xcode 8.0 autocompletion and compiler issues.

I have recently updated to Xcode 8.0 and since I did my code won't autocomplete like it used to, and I am having to manually type out 60% of my code. Another thing I noticed was the compiler isn't picking up on errors like it should be. I was watching a video titled "Finishing Touches" in the "Vending Machine App" module and Pasan was getting errors in certain spots were I was not. Has anyone experienced this? If so is there a fix? I have changed my target platform as suggested on another online forum and I am going to try deleting my derived data folder. I will keep you posted. Thanks!
