11,322 PointsHi Gary,
might be a really good idea to use these things you learned to build something on your own. It doesn't matter if you actually need the page your building at all, it's just training. Try different things, colors, layouts. The pages can be ugly and without any purpose, the point is to keep repeating and get a routine.
Web Design Track might be really good for you, but you need to take some breaks and do things on your own. Any coding wont stay in your head if you just watch the videos once and do some simple tests. Just like learning anything new. You might feel like a winner for a moment, but that fades away when you forget half of the things in few days :) So don't be too greedy with lessons in short time.
Hope this helps!
I joined Treehouse to refresh my knowledge, find some new ways to do things. I find Treehouse very useful tool even for already advanced coders.

2,343 PointsDo you guys have any further challenges after each course? This would be AWESOME!! I love the Q/A and small challenges you have currently. As the user is unable to move further until correct.....this really pushes the brain to understand it.

11,322 PointsBut you're not supposed to just watch the videos and do the tests, you should train yourself more by doing your own projects based on the information you already learned.
edit: sure if you meant that videos are going too fast, try slowing them down.

2,343 PointsAwesome!!! I think this is my problem - im moving thru your lessons step-by-step and your right I should be setting my own challenges....Im loving this course and looking forward to moving onto more, etc.
There's a lot of information to store up in our brains and personally would be AWESOME if you guys set more challenges.
It's trying to store it all without forgetting what you learned last lesson :(
Thanks

2,343 PointsWOW!! Thanks so much for your reply Riku S.
Much appreciated

Yeah I really need to set challenges as I do tend to forget one task from another. And thanks for the shout re. Web Design Track, I'll give this a look after setting challenges ;)
Have an Awesome Day! Gaz
