19,060 PointsWork Space or VS Code, Sublime, etc?
Hey guys, do you the Treehouse works space, or an editor, on your computer? I tried using the Treehouse editor, but it got disconnected, a few times, so I used VS Code, and I seemed to stay in the flow, pretty well.
Thanks, Scott

231,261 PointsYou try contacting Support if you're having trouble using the workspaces.
For following along in the courses, the workspaces have the advantages of looking exactly like the examples and if you ever need some help, you can make a snapshot and share your entire project with other students by just posting a link.

969 PointsHi Scott,
It all sinks down to your personal preference.
VS-CODE In my opinion the best code editor in the market.
- Lightweight
- Easy to get started with
- Supports many languages
Sublime Text I haven't played with this text editor, but the 70$ price tag if being honest puts me off. Hence I'm in no place to judge this editor, but again VS-CODE offers a better experience in my opinion and it's free. One plus I did find that Sublime text has better support for Python & Backend languages but it's noting you can't install as a package in VS CODE.
Happy Coding
Sincerely,
Shay

19,060 PointsThanks, Steven! Did not happen that often. Also, I was wandering what others though about using an outside editor, but it does make much better sense to use the Team Treehouse, for the reason, you state. Thanks again, Scott :)
