Wordpress Contact Form Issue

I keep getting this error when I am trying to set up a contact form on my local development site. When I send a test email ( I am attempting to use a gmail email address), it goes to my spam folder because it could not be verified that the email came the the sender's email address. It has something to do with the fact that the email address does not belong to the same domain as the site.

Hi Aaron,

Generally when this happens you need to use the SMTP settings for that provider.
