I defined the variable "name" and made the variable "subject" equal Treehouse loves {}. i dont know why the .format method is not working.
name = 'jonathan'
subject = 'Treehouse loves {}'
print(subject.format(name))

Your code is legitimate and should work as seen here, https://repl.it/repls/KindheartedTeemingEquestrian. The problem is with what the challenge is testing for; Call .format directly on the string and the result will be assigned to subject. Also, no need to print anything.
