Why wont my code run and have error?

Why wont my code run and have error?

app.js
let firstName = 'Peter';
let lastName = 'Huang';
let role = 'developer';

let msg = firstName + " " + lastName + " : " + role;
let new = role.toUpperCase();

Shao Yo Huang , you're not actually able to use new as a variable because this an operator within JS. For more information check this.

I suggest changing the last variable to something like let newRole = role.toUpperCase();. This gives it a more descriptive name and enables it to run properly.
