Why was the argument changed?

Question

Even_odd(num) is a function that already has an argument, when looking at other question posed they suggested to insert your random number variable into even_odd. How does this work?

I thought even_odd already has an argument, wouldn't inserting a new argument inside of the definition, cause a problem?

It looks like you have have misinterpreted the instructions. They don't ask you to add an argument or to otherwise modify the "even_odd" function. You should leave it just as it is.

What they do say is to use it for testing random numbers and then printing out which category they fall into. Your loop and testing code will all be done after and outside of the "even_odd" function.
