Why there is Math.sqrt AND Math.pow ?? The formula is : (x2-x1)squared + (y2-y1)squared . So shouldn'e there be only math.pow ? Math.pow(x-x,2)+ Math.pow(y-y,2) ???

8,460 PointsThe formula is to get the square root(Math.Sqrt) of xDiffSquared(Math.Pow(X-x, 2)) + yDiffSquared(Math.Pow(Y-y, 2)) so you will need to use both. Hope this helps.
