Why isn't the image being displayed?

I was using this link to help me get a photo and display it, but after following the steps from the website, I couldn't display the image. After looking around, I realized that my imagePickerController method wasn't being run. What is wrong with the code? Here is the website I used to learn from. https://makeapppie.com/2016/06/28/how-to-use-uiimagepickercontroller-for-a-camera-and-photo-library-in-swift-3-0/

Here is the code: import UIKit

class ViewController: UIViewController, UIImagePickerControllerDelegate, UINavigationControllerDelegate {

@IBOutlet weak var myImageView: UIImageView!

@IBAction func photoFromLibrary(_ sender: UIBarButtonItem) {
    picker.allowsEditing = false
    picker.sourceType = .photoLibrary
    picker.mediaTypes = UIImagePickerController.availableMediaTypes(for: .photoLibrary)!
    picker.modalPresentationStyle = .popover
    present(picker, animated: true, completion: nil)
    picker.popoverPresentationController?.barButtonItem = sender
}

@IBAction func shootPhoto(_ sender: UIBarButtonItem) {
    if UIImagePickerController.isSourceTypeAvailable(.camera) {
        picker.allowsEditing = false
        picker.sourceType = UIImagePickerControllerSourceType.camera
        picker.cameraCaptureMode = .photo
        picker.modalPresentationStyle = .fullScreen
        present(picker,animated: true,completion: nil)
    } else {
        noCamera()
    }
}

let picker = UIImagePickerController()

override func viewDidLoad() {
    super.viewDidLoad()
    // Do any additional setup after loading the view, typically from a nib.
    picker.delegate = self
}

override func didReceiveMemoryWarning() {
    super.didReceiveMemoryWarning()
    // Dispose of any resources that can be recreated.
}

func noCamera(){
    let alertVC = UIAlertController(
        title: "No Camera",
        message: "Sorry, this device has no camera",
        preferredStyle: .alert)
    let okAction = UIAlertAction(
        title: "OK",
        style:.default,
        handler: nil)
    alertVC.addAction(okAction)
    present(
        alertVC,
        animated: true,
        completion: nil)
}

//MARK: - Delegates
private func imagePickerController(_ picker: UIImagePickerController, didFinishPickingMediaWithInfo info: [String : AnyObject]) {
    let chosenImage = info[UIImagePickerControllerOriginalImage] as! UIImage
    myImageView.contentMode = .scaleAspectFit
    myImageView.image = chosenImage
    dismiss(animated:true, completion: nil)
}

func imagePickerControllerDidCancel(_ picker: UIImagePickerController) {
    dismiss(animated: true, completion: nil)
}

}
