Why isn't .appendChild working?

Can someone please explain to me why my JS code on line 4 will not work for step 3 of this challenge?

I thought I could:

1) Select the contentDiv variable 2) Call the .appendChild (to contentDiv) method followed by the element I am trying to append to it (newParagraph ((which also happens to be a variable?))

Clearly I am missing something...any help would be GREATLY appreciated!!!

app.js
const contentDiv = document.getElementById("content");
let newParagraph = document.createElement('p');
newParagraph.className = "panel"
contentDiv.appendChild('newParagrah');
index.html
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
    <head>
        <title>DOM Manipulation</title>
    </head>
    <link rel="stylesheet" href="style.css" />
    <body>
        <div id="content">

        </div>
        <script src="app.js"></script>
    </body>
</html>

First, you need a semicolon ; at the end of your 3rd line. Then, you need to remove the quotation marks around newParagraph in the last line because it's a variable name, not a string. Lastly you need to fix the typo in newParagrah since you are missing a 'p'.
