Why is this else statement continually being rejected? What am I doing wrong?

var a = 10; var b = 20; var c = 30; if (a > b) { alert("a is greater than b."); } else { alert("a is not greater than b."); }

The challenges can be very picky about output requirements, and the strings the instructions said to use in the alerts did not have any punctuation. But the strings in the code above have periods added to the end.

Remove the periods and you should pass.

Never mind. The period in the alert was causing the rejection. I fixed it.
