why is it saying to use the placeholder when I have it in.

Here's a few hints:

  • the template string, with the placeholder, goes on the left of the ".format"
  • the placeholder is simply "{}" (nothing between the braces)
  • the argument (in parentheses after ".format") should be the variable (name)
  • the word "Jack" should occur only once when it assigned to name
  • the template string and format will be on the line where subject gets assigned
