Why does google sheets sort the values in "2017" from min to max?

Well actually the question is in the title. I don't get it...

Hi! As the racers finish their times are added to the dataset so it would make sense that they are in order naturally. Does that answer your question?

Google Sheets doesn't necessarily or automatically sort the values from min to max. A spreadsheet can be sorted by any of the column values in a few ways, as detailed in this Google Sheets help article: Sort & Filter Your Data
