Why didn't the question tell me to make a variable named start_movie?

I was having a hard time with this challenge for a little bit, I didn't know if I needed to create a function, a while True loop. I kept getting an error named "Not the expected response from 'start_movie'." Eventually I got it right by looking at a similar script in the forum, just about the only thing I needed to change was the name of the input variable from start to start_movie. I'm just asking why didn't they put that in the instruction? That could've saved me some trouble.

Can you post the code using "start" that didn't pass the challenge? Maybe there were other issues.

This code passes using the variable start:

import sys

start = input("start the movie? ")
if start.lower() != 'n':
    print("Enjoy the show!")
else:
    sys.exit()

This also works:

import sys

start = input("start the movie? ")
if start != 'n' and start != 'N':
    print("Enjoy the show!")
else:
    sys.exit()
