Why can't I start any new more new CV curves after I made the first one and successfully revolved the first shape.

I basically can't make any more curves after I made the first one. the message on the bottom says to hit enter once i'm done and even though I do that and start another cv curve to contour the fan base it still goes on with the first cv curve used to revolve the fan
