Why aren't there semi-colons, ' ; ' at then end of the .then and .catch lines?

This is an example of "chaining" functions, so this entire thing is part of a single statement.

Semicolons only go at the end of a complete statement, and placing one in front of a membership operator (the period) would cause a syntax error.
