Courses Plus Student 11,897 PointsWhy are we using so many redirects?
In an earlier course on page optimization and download time, we learned to avoid unnecessary calls to the server. In this lesson, we created an app that calls for the server to deliver the entire page 3 times.
Since this is an advanced course, it seems that some time should be spent on the decisions made about design of the application. Is there some reason the calls to create, update and delete database items are not done asynchronously? I know that it would involve some javascript, but it would seem to be a better real-world example, given the load this design is putting on the server.
