While you could definitely solve this using an if statement, try returning the result of the expression.

Getting this error

Hey Nirbhay, you can return the result from the check directly because it returns a boolean value. There is no need for the if/else statement.

public boolean hasTile(char tile) {
  return tiles.indexOf(tile) >= 0;
}
