Where does an array with lots of data get declared?

I declared an array from a class that holds strings. The array has well over a hundred strings, and I was wondering what's the best place to put these strings. Do I create a separate file or do I just put all the strings into the view controller? Where does a large data structure normally go in an app?

I would put it where you are using it. Are you using it in a function? If you are using the MVC approach I would put it in my model files
