where do i have to add the class and how? className doesn't work...

i tried to add the class in the variable like the code attached and in another line like this newParagraph.className('panel');

const contentDiv = document.getElementById("content");
let newParagraph = document.createElement('p').className('panel');

You need to set it using the = sign rather than with a method:

const contentDiv = document.getElementById("content");
let newParagraph = document.createElement('p');
newParagraph.className = 'panel';
