Where do I create a folder for text editor and HTML docs?

I am thoroughly confused. In the video, Nick has created a folder that holds the text documents and images he is using to create his site. This will supposedly allow for auto updates to the html docs and allow images to be easily included because they are in the folder.

I am using Notepad on a PC as my text editor, and my browser is Google Chrome. Where do I create a folder? I created a desktop folder, but that does not work as demonstrated.

If you dont use Treehouse editor then you need to use something like codex or buy a domain where you can upload files. If youre doing only html, you can view files locally. You have to type to local address in the browser that points to your index.html file.

Thanks Cindy. I did not understand that from the video.
