When i run this in workspaces it works however it is not working here.

messy = [5, 2, 8, 1, 3] del messy[2]

lists.py
messy = [5, 2, 8, 1, 3]
del messy [2]

A couple of things: First, define "not working", you get better chances of someone helping you if you include more details on the issue. Second: try removing the extra space when calling the array index (the space between the name and the bracket): del messy[2]. Cheers.
