com.android.build.api.transform.TransformException: java.lang.RuntimeException: com.android.ide.common.process.ProcessException: java.util.concurrent.ExecutionException: com.android.ide.common.process.ProcessException: Return code 1 for dex process
any ideas ?

Treehouse TeacherTry cleaning your project (Build -> Clean Project). Whenever I get an error that doesn't make sense that's usually the first step I take.

12,755 PointsI have not seen that error in particular before, but I'm of the opinion that it's kind of like a missing brace error. The error of course is a missing brace or semi-colon, however, it gives you a weird error code because it doesn't realize that is the problem. For this in particular, I would think, that something is not being referenced or pointed to correctly. I know android files usually are fairly large, otherwise, I would suggest posting the code and maybe I could find it for you. But even then, there wouldn't be any guarantee I could find it. I haven't created a lot of apps with android yet.
