Python Object-Oriented Python Instant Objects Your first method

What's wrong with my exercise? :c

Where's wrong here? I have rewrited some 20x times and don't finish :$

first_class.py
class Student:
    name = "Alex"

    def praise(name):
        print("You're doing a great job, {}!".format(name))

alex = Student()
alex.praise()

You almost have it.

  • the argument to the method should have the instance self as the parameter
  • use return not print for the results
  • format needs to reference this instances attributes using self.name
