What program does Treehouse use for the little animations/graphics in their videos? Mucher nicer than PowerPoint!

I really like the simple animations and I can see many practical uses for this. I'm interested in using it to make instructional videos for teaching languages and music, that I might embed in a web page. Even just simple things like highlighting words, providing a visual with basic 2d animation, nice transitions with sounds, are useful. Thanks in advance! -Chris
