push() adds an element to an array. The method you're looking for is pop(). I like to try things out in the console when i'm unsure.

var orderQueue = ['1XT567437','1U7857317','1I9222528'];
var shipping = orderQueue.shift();
var cancelled = orderQueue.pop();
