What is wrong with the code?

It says: ''There was an error with your code: TypeError: 'null' is not an object (evaluating 'document.getElementById(newParagraph).className = 'panel'')''.

number one, please try to use the markdown sheets, when you paste / write code, that way, it makes the readability higher to all.

Am hoping the issue, that you have is with the task 2.

the below is your code, is what I assume (evaluating 'document.getElementById(newParagraph).className = 'panel'')''.

now the question Set the class of panel to the newParagraph.

now that the question asks to set the panel, on the newParagraph, I'd forget about the document.getElementById part, and will try to work on the newParagraph, it already have got a reference to a 'P', which was set in the task 1

newParagraph.xxxxxxxxx = "panel";

//xxxxxxxxx = is for you to figure out.

So basically what you're doing is setting the attribute of the newParagraph. If you remember from prior videos to set the class name to a new name you use this code -->

newParagraph.className = 'panel';
