Python Python Basics (2015) Python Data Types List Creation

What is wrong?

colors = [ purple, blue, yellow, green, red] my_list = colors

Error purple is not defined? not sure

lists.py
colors = [ purple, blue, yellow, green, red]
my_list = colors

You need to wrap each color word in quotation marks so that it becomes an actual "string". Right now it's looking for variables called purple, blue, yellow, etc. Also, you don't need that my_list variable for this challenge.
