What is the value in putting a paragraph tag <p>in the document.write method?

I have seen this done in a few videos and upon looking it up online I haven't found anything useful.

The "value" is if you want to create a paragraph element.

Tags written to the document will become elements on your page. You can create other kinds of elements by writing different tags to the document. For example, this will create a button:

document.write("<button>Push me</button>");
