935 PointsWhat is the problem
even ı use getString() methods the solver says me don't forget to use getString()
Button loadPuppiesButton = (Button) findViewById(R.id.puppiesButton);
Resources resources=getResources();
String buttonLabel = resources.getString(R.string.morePuppies);
loadPuppiesButton.setText("LOAD");
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<resources>
<string name="morePuppies">See More Puppies</string>
</resources>

36,441 PointsI think the task is intended to use the shortcut version of getString()
. So instead of instantiating the resources variable and calling .getString()
on it, just use getString()
as is. If you rewatch the video, it's shown and explained around the 2:15 timestamp.

935 PointsThanks a lot. Button loadPuppiesButton = (Button) findViewById(R.id.puppiesButton);
String buttonLabel = getString(R.string.morePuppies); loadPuppiesButton.setText(buttonLabel); İt works.
